1st Day of Insanity

The dang dvd for the fit test won't work and luckily someone from the beachbody.com website pointed out to me that the workouts are on the calendar....YAY! I would much rather have had the dvd to follow but things don't always go as planned so I will just deal with it. So, I just finished the fit test and man do I feel out of shape! My right shoulder which I injured is having a fit but it's not too bad. Tomorrow should be interesting since this made me out of breath and sweating..lol


Here are my day 1 stats:

I did try a smoothie this morning from The Eat-Clean Diet Cookbook and it's very good. It's an oatmeal protein smoothie and the recipe will be at the end of this post. A lot of the food I've been trying is trial and error and I like to share good tasting stuff when I can since it's a misconception that anything that is good for you must taste bad. I want people to know that's not so. 
OATMEAL PROTEIN SMOOTHIE
1/4 cup dry uncooked oatmeal
1 tbsp natural nut butter (I used almond)
1 scoop protein powder (I used chocolate)
1 tbsp honey or agave nectar (I used agave nectar)
1 tbsp flax seed
1 cup milk of your choice (I used chocolate almond milk)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Ice
Put it all in the blender till smooth adding ice to adjust consistency.
